Kalisto’s wife took to Instagram to announce that her dear husband received stitches and underwent an MRI following an unspecified assault

Reports have it that, the attack occurred after Kalisto was involved in a tag-team match where he was partnered with Gran Metalik against Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher. The match was won by Kalisto and Metalik due to a disqualification of their opponents.

This is how it happened, the heel team tossed Kalisto against the ring post causing him to fall to the outside of the ring. From there, Gallagher and Kendrick put Metalik’s leg in between the steel ring steps and ring post. While Kalisto was laying on the ground, the camera caught a water bottle as it was tossed at his face by a fan in attendance at the event.

That’s not the end of the story, update reaching us now has it that the security agency has eventually caught the fan who threw the object at the Superstar. However, for the now, we cannot say if charges were pressed against the fan or whatnot.

There’s also a tweet from a WWE staff named “WWE Parking Guy” who said that he wished he was the one who caught the fan who did that.

WWE have posted some photos and a video on Twitter of parts of the match but not the water bottle incident. With this development, it is fitting to say that WWE Superstars are to a great degree susceptible to attacks as fans tend to attack them once in a while; be it inside and outside the ring. The news which may give you joy after-all is that incidents of this sort hardly occur; it occurs once in a while.
